Our store's website needs to inform customers of what is unique to our store vs. what is available through www.acehardware.com

What separates us from our competition is that we are personal.  We know our customers, we have a staff that not only knows the how to of home projects but is willing to share the information with customers.

The following points will explain our general information, this needs to be included in the site:

  • We manufacture and repair custom screens
  • A very robust Grill selection specializing in Weber and Traeger Grills
  • We uniquely provide free assembly and delivery within the 78613 and 78641 zip codes
  • We carry Stihl Power Tools
  • We carry Benjamin Moore Paints
  • We have a branded gift shop within the Hardware store called BanAnna's Gifts and Gourmet, which is oriented toward women shoppers
  • We have our own community project called The Pink Rose Project. Details are on our website
  • Acehardware.com has a look and feel that might be good to emulate for strategic purposes
  • Our most popular departments are: (not necessarily in order of importance)
    - The fasteners...nuts, bolts, screws; we have a VERY LARGE selection and a customer can buy just one or a whole box.
    - Toilet repair
    - Filters for air conditioners
    - Grills

Some site must-have:

  • We need to be able to link to the acehardware.com electronic shopper/circular. The destination link is constant, the visual for it changes at least monthly, sometimes twice a month.
  • All outgoing links should be preserved (such as to Acehardware.com )
  • All 3rd-party banner advertisements should reside somewhere on homepage
